Best Western Premier Heronston Hotel & Spa Achieves Highest AA Merit Score

Best Western Premier Heronston Hotel & Spa was recently awarded an AA Merit Score of 82% following an overnight visit by an AA hotel inspector.

This is the highest merit score the hotel has been awarded and is a direct result of the hotel's on going refurbishment programme. The AA Merit score allows guests to compare hotels with the same AA Star rating. The hotel has maintained its 3 Star AA rating.

Here's what the inspector noted:

"A pleasure to visit Best Western Premier Heronston Hotel & Spa for this overnight inspection. Hospitality and service proved a strength with a positive and guest orientated approach displayed by all members of staff throughout the course of the visit - this has impacted well upon overall scoring. Bedrooms and bathrooms are well decorated, the refurbishment seen on the show round shows rooms providing very good levels of quality and comfort. Housekeeping displayed sound attention to detail throughout the hotel, well done to the Housekeeping team. All public areas appeared in very good order with the well decorated and furnished bar/lounge areas being very comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast offered a good selection of well cooked and presented items."
